IN THE BOX Kimmy Douk

While we were working on a TV project last year we were tasked with finding some hot dealers. Once we tracked down a few of these lovely and talented ladies we decided it would be great if we could expose a little more of their, uhm... personality in our magazine. Now you can enjoy the fruits of our labor with UTG's In the Box article, dedicated to finding prime pitchers. If you know a professional dealer that makes the grade, or think you might be a candidate yourself, send your photos to inthebox@underthegunmag.com and you just might see them featured in an upcoming issue of UNDER THE GUN.

Name: Kimmy Douk

What is your nationality/heritage? Born Cambodian.

Where do you live now? Henderson, Nevada.

How long have you been dealing? About 2 1/2 years.

Do you play poker yourself? I do but I'm really too impatient to sit and wait for cards so I don't see myself entering any WSOP events anytime soon.

How did you get into dealing? Started playing Poker for fun and needed a way to support my "hobby" so I learned how to deal and here I am.

Dealt any big games? Not yet, nothing bigger than 5-10 NL.

Who is the most famous person you've dealt to and what were they like? Jerry Buss, he was a gentleman at the table and a pleasure to deal to.

Have any poker related fantasies? LOL, not really, but I do talk in my sleep telling players to post their blinds and its their turn to act.

What is your favorite dealing memory? A player came in that had a really bad beat at the Main Event of the 2006 WSOP. He was tilting all day at one of our limit games and was just dumping money until he finally got sick of playing and decided he want to split his money with all the players at the table. One player suggested that they should push some into the pot and leave the rest to me since I was pregnant. Thanks Billy.

What is your favorite non-work related pastime? Spending time with my kids.

Favorite Game: Limit Hold'em

Live games or tournaments: Live

Favorite position: Are we still talking about poker or...?
